This SABPP accredited programme is designed with the purpose to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to facilitate the learning process within the education and training / skills development landscape in South Africa. The programme will provide participants with a full understanding of the education and training / skills development legislative landscape in South Africa, best practices within facilitation processes, understanding and mastering different learning methods within learning and the ever changing face of training in the post-Covid -19 world. This programme will enable the participant to be an effective facilitator / trainer. 

The participant will be able to –

  • Plan and prepare for facilitation.
  • Facilitate learning.
  • Evaluate learning and facilitation.

Assessment and Certification – Participants will be assessed through a Summative Assessment Knowledge Questionnaire and Practical Activities. An assessment mark of 65% is required to achieve Competency. Upon verification of the SABPP, participants will receive a Certificate of Competency through MetGovis (PTY) LTD and a Statement of Results through the SABPP.

This SABPP accredited programme is designed with the purpose to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to perform one-to-one training on the job through mentoring and coaching.  The mentoring and coaching programme is designed to not only develop the individual’s skills to provide one-to-one training but to also develop the individual’s personal development; to use this content to apply to other aspects within the workplace especially in terms of organisational change initiatives. This should be seen as an introductory programme to mentoring and coaching within the workplace. 

The participant will be able to –

  • Prepare for one-to-one training on the job as a mentor / coach.
  • Conduct training sessions.
  • Monitor and report on learner progress.
  • Review training through the mentoring / coaching processes.
